Accenture – innovation delivered
Accenture is the world’s leading management and technology services organisation.
With 75,000 people working in 47 countries, this is a big business. But although size can be impressive, it doesn’t explain what they do, or why you might want to join.
Accenture works with clients to help them deliver innovation – quickly. Their job is to shorten the journey between the idea and the result. This approach means that they are no longer shaped like a traditional consulting firm – more of a network of complementary business that work together in different ways, depending on what they are trying to achieve.
Their work invariably involves the application of information technology to business challenges, although this can take many different forms.
For example, they built the online shop that Sony used to sell Playstation 2 in Europe, and also the system that helps De Beers track the movement of their diamonds throughout the world.
Given that Accenture is a large, global company, there is a surprisingly close-knit feel to working there. You’ll be surrounded by people who share your ambitions and interests; and from the day you start there, you begin to build informal networks that provide continuing support in your career.
Everyone who joins Accenture follows their unique, self-directed approach to managing their own individual career development. This is especially important given that promotion is based entirely on merit and the skills you develop in you time there.
Flexible working programmes allow Accenture employees to manage their schedule in a way that suits them. And the company also offers opportunities for their people to give back to the community, both through organised activities and personal charity work.
Accenture offers such great opportunities for graduates, partly because of the nature of the work that they do, and partly because learning and personal development are so high on their agenda.
Perhaps this is why final year students have ranked them as the UK’s leading graduate employer for a record five years running.

| keep trying then....
。。才能给WP |
