Since entering the UK market in 1989 there are currently close to 300 Aldi stores across the UK and Ireland, serviced by six regional offices. A multimillion pound investment programme in new stores and distribution facilities is ongoing, and they therefore require confident, highly motivated and energetic individuals to help them build on their growth and success.
Aldi operate in fast paced stimulating environment where people are a vital component in their successful growth. They aim to recruit individuals of the highest calibre who will relish being part of an enthusiastic and committed team.
Their twelve month training programme is dedicated to developing your knowledge and abilities. You will spend the initial part of your trainging in store where you will take on the role of Store Manager. The second part of your training will be spent focussing on the role and responsibilities of the Area Manager, where you will be working closely alongside experienced colleagues. You will find this part of your career both intense and highly demanding – but it is crucial in allowing you to fulfil your true potential.
After your training you will take on full responsibility for the operation of four to six stores, with the opportunity to progress to director level within five years.
