严重感谢坛主开careers版,先.本人去年九月份来英,十二月找的Part-Time工作,现在已打了一个多月了,但是今天经理助理告之这个月的撒了泪不能PAY,因为我现在还没有申请到NI number和INLAND AVENUE的P46.我已经预约了NI的面试(靠,预约电话那叫难打),在二月中旬.不知道接下来我该怎么做,P46倒底the hell是什么东西?还有关于咱们留学生打工的劳资方面的手续还有些什么,请前辈指教了.谢,先. |

[COLOR=red]NI number[/COLOR]有好处也有坏处，很多工作需要你出示NI，这样可以报税，但是如果用NI打工一个周超过20个小时以后，你的麻烦会很大，换言之，如果你不用NI打工，超过多少个小时都无所谓，因为谁也查不到你。
但是如果你想永久的留在英国，最好申请NI，因为有了NI，你就可以报税，这样对你以后在英国买车买房都有好处。如果仅仅为了挣点钱维持生活，那么编个TN凑合一下就可以了！

[COLOR=red]P38(S)[/COLOR] Employers using this procedure do not have to deduct tax from students who work for them during official University holidays only (i.e. NOT during term time). You don't need a P45 or P46 if you have already filled in a P38(S). This form should not be used by students who work during term time as well as in the holidays. If you have worked and paid tax during term-time you must use a P45 or P46. If you have an Easter job, you must sign a new form if the job runs past April 6; if you are in your final year you are not supposed to use the P38(S) system form april 6 onwards.
[COLOR=red]P45[/COLOR] If your employer has deducted tax from your wages, when you leave the job he should give you a P45 form. when you start a new job, you should give this form to your new employer so that the tax office can be kept u to date on how much tax you are paying. Any tax you have overpaid should be refunded to you automatically if you pass on your P45 to each new employer and provided it relates to the current tax year.
[COLOR=red]P46[/COLOR] If you don't have a P45 to give to a new employer, you should fill in a P46 BEFORE you start work so that your employer can notify the tax office and assign the right tax code to you - this will mean you should avoid paying emergency tax which is a large proportion of your pay.
[COLOR=red]P50[/COLOR] This is a tax repayment form. If you think you have paid too much tax and it has not been refunded to you in your wages, you can submit this form with your P45, if you have one, and a written explanation to your last employer's tax office |

| 严重感谢,先.所以顺序应该是NI然后P46,不过我上个月打的就绝对不止20小时了,以为圣诞节的时候天天打,那怎么办?而且今天上班的时候,老板给我拿了一份P46,让我选B,就是申明自己这是第一次工作.看了上面的回复,真不知道我倒底能PAY多少了.还有复活节,暑假我还指望打全天呢,那怎么办?我打工的店的HeadOffice说没P46就不呸,我们经理也窝火,觉得上面不给她面子云云.但是我没NI,我还填不了P46,因为上面有一项需要填,哎,浆糊了. |

暑假，任何学生都可以打Full time，对于你的情况，我只能说遗憾（你的这个老板很不是人）
可惜你现在没有资格告他，因为首先，你在没有NI的情况下打工超了时间，就算你没有NI你这样打工也是犯法的（虽然查不到），但是你的老板在这种情况下雇佣你，他也是犯法的（这有点像绕口令）。
总之你们都不合法，但是他知道你不敢去告他，所以就可以牵制着你。
我的建议，换一份工作，现在很多中介公司是会给你提供TN的，多找一找。

| 先谢之,这两天通过英华算是对这个有点了解了.还是要严重感谢ing...不过现在如果找不到工作就没有办法申请NI,没有NI又找不到工作,我们这的Job Center简直是一块狗屎.靠,矛盾简直. |

| 再顺便问一下,我三月底回国,那个时候能不能找学校把第二年的换汇通知给要过来,因为我暑假不回了,想早一点要.不知道行不行,有经验的DX们请了.. |

大家不要把申请NI想的那么复杂，其实只要你材料全，没有不给你的道理。
材料如下，护照，payslip，警局注册证明，国内学历证明，学校offer，你的国内身份证，你的雇佣合同。
容易吗？
剩下的事情，只要你能听明白他说什么就万事OK了！
