Somali pirates hijack ship carrying seven crew members Yemeni fishing boats
Xinhua Sana'a on May 7 (Xinhua Qiuyun Yin Ke) 7 Yemen Ministry of Defence said that Somali pirates hijacked a ship in the Red Sea contains seven crew members of the Yemeni fishingboats.
Defense Department's "Sept. 26 Daily News" quoted sources as saying that Yemeni Red Sea Coast, the Somali pirates in the vessel docked at an island in the Red Sea when their hijacked.
The report did not disclose the specific time of abduction, but said the pirates had hijacked the vessel and the ship's crew of seven Yemeni nationals, was hijacked vessels sailing toward the Somali waters.
Currently the Yemeni Coast Guard is working to rescue the crew of fishing vessels and ships.
Recently, the Somali pirates frequent the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea in the past often been hijacked vessels.
