UNITED NATIONS, May 7 (Xinhua Bai Jie Gu Zhenqiu) 7, the Council issued a statement strongly condemning the day occurred in the Darfur region of Sudan against UN peacekeepersarmed attack.
Rotating presidency this month, the Permanent Representative of Lebanon 纳瓦夫拉姆 read the statement the same day, said that Council to "the strongest terms" condemnation of the attack, urged the Government
to quickly bring perpetrators to justice. Council members reiterated that the United Nations and African Union mission in Darfur the full support of the Darfur factions called for full cooperation with the
mission.
The statement said the Council members were killed in the attack on the two Egyptian peacekeeping troops condolences and expressed their condolences to the families and the Government of Egypt.
