Within the Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow graduate programme, Benefits Delivery covers the effective and comprehensive administration of pension scheme provision on behalf of clients. We use multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that team members develop fully rounded skills and graduates wishing to follow this career path can expect to use:
numeracy skills to administer different types of pension arrangements
ensuring accuracy and efficiency as well as developing effective procedures within the team environment
communication skills to provide an excellent service to clients, be they corporate clients or the individual members of pensions arrangements
project management skills to contribute and eventually lead projects designed to meet the needs of the clients.
general leadership skills in prioritising work and, over time, managing deadlines for other team members as well as managing client expectations
Developing this kind of technical competency will also [color=blue][u]require you to further your professional studies, for which you will have a full range of support[/u][/color].
Specifically for this area, you may study for either the Pensions Management Institute examinations or the Qualification in Pensions Administration, depending on the needs of the department that you will join.
Once technically competent and with a significant part of the professional study underway, you will develop your consultancy skills so that you can advise clients on their benefits needs, designing and implementing solutions that you feel confident in delivering.
Our entry requirements are:
2:2 degree expected
minimum 'B' grade in Maths A-level or equivalent
minimum 'B' grade in GCSE English Language or equivalent
