Associate, Executive Compensation
Associate, Reward and Performance Management
The Executive Compensation practice assists our clients in all aspects of executive and non-employee director compensation programs. We work with clients to design, implement, communicate and manage compensation programs that focus both the organization’s executives and employees on key business goals.
The Reward and Performance Management practice assists clients in enhancing employee and organization performance and managing cost and risk. We help clients develop an effective and high-performance reward strategy with our expertise in compensation program design, implementation and administration, coupled with an understanding of the client’s business fundamentals and industry talents.
Associates in each practice will gain the knowledge and skills needed to become effective consultants. There will be opportunities to work on projects with related lines of business and in other Towers Perrin offices.
Responsibilities include:
Ø Collating and analysing data through market research including in-house and other data sources
Ø Assisting in the preparation of letters and reports, client presentations and meetings, and proposals
Ø Summarising and forming conclusions based on analysis, and presenting results internally and/or with clients
Ø Actively interacting with senior-level clients and providing supporting to senior consultants in client engagements
Ø Analysing corporate financial information
Ø Maintaining an in-house database of corporate data
Ø Developing knowledge or technical issues surrounding pay, performance management and value driver analysis.
The Candidate:
Ø Bachelor degree in a business related discipline
Ø Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ø Well developed analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ø Attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
Ø An interest in developing new business opportunities
Ø Basic understanding of annual company reports, financial reporting and financial statements
Ø One-two years HR or financial sector experience is a plus
Ø Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese languages, both spoken and written is essential Fluent spoken English is essential.
Ø Knowledge of Cantonese would be desirable.
