Graduate Tax Associate
If you have already graduated and are interested in a career in finance, but not sure whether tax would be right for you, PricewaterhouseCoopers can offer you six months as a Tax Associate within our Tax & Legal Services (TLS) group, based in either our St Albans or London offices.
At PricewaterhouseCoopers, client service embraces all aspects of problem solving from innovation to implementation. You will be brought into contact with global and rapidly emerging UK businesses and the business leaders who drive them. You could become involved in tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, treasury and finance, international structuring, indirect tax and expatriate tax to companies of every size, and personal tax advice to high net worth individuals and owner managers.
You will become involved in many projects from their inception and be given real responsibility for advising clients that demand innovative tax planning solutions, bringing you new, interesting challenges as well as exciting opportunities for personal development.
If at the end of your six months you feel that your future lies with tax, you may have the opportunity to join our graduate scheme in 2004 and begin training to be a tax consultant.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with the following skills:
· Strong academic record, 2:1 or above in any discipline
· Evidence of people handling and relationship skills
· Proven team-working ability
